Creating safe spaces to birth, eat, laugh and live hough our actions, presence and service.
Hi Everyone, my name is Nia Rose but you can call me Yaya. I am a full-spectrum doula, yoni steam facilitator, and a passionate student of life who loves all things women’s health. Growing up I have always been a health conscious and intuitive person which has ultimately led me to birthwork with an interest in herbalism.
The pandemic has awakened something in me that has pushed me to put all my creative energy, love for health and women into a business, so here I am with my pandemic baby named “Yaya’s Yoniverse.”
Yaya’s Yoniverse is a space I am creating for all women with a focus on marginalized groups to reclaim the healing power that we possess within our feminine energy. I must make this statement, I am not here to disclaim allopathic medicine, but through my research and personal experiences I have found that there is not solely one solution for healing. All fields are individually made to work together so our vessels can coexist on mother earth.
To assist and empower women of color of all socio-economic backgrounds to embrace their bodies, educate themselves and others; and provide women with products and services that will help them create a beautiful and healthy womb.
Please reach us at nnchami321@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Key reasons why you should hire a doula:
No midwives and obstetricians are licensed to catch and/or deliver babies. A doula is present to assist the mother/birthing person and their family during the process. Doulas have no medical involvement (unless that have a licensed background outside of being a doula) but are essential when it comes to supporting and advocating for the mother and family.
Doula services range from $750-$2500 depending on any additional services. My services however can be bundled or purchased a la carte to work with families’ budgets.
No, I support whatever birth that the mother or birthing person wants. I gather all information needed for birthing persons to feel prepared for whatever birth they have in mind, as long as it is safe for both the birthing person and baby.
No, I provide detailed instructions on how to safely steam at home and also have instructional videos on both my website and social media @yayas_yoniverse.
These details are also added into my instructions. Individuals who are pregnant, bleeding or who’s tubes have been tied for less than 1 year should not be yoni steaming. Also if you have an IUD you should only be steaming for 10-15 minutes, with the risk of pushing out the IUD due to the healing properties of the herbs and steam.
Yes the steam amplifies the healing properties of the mixture of herbs to better remove the toxins and extra tissues within the uterus that are linked to these symptoms. Consistent steams are ideal for the greatest results, along with drinking plenty of water, and eating fresh fruits and veggies.
Yes, depending on the herb mixture you choose will determine the highest effect on what you are working on to balance your yoni. Excess tissue removal, antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial are key properties within the herbs that are chosen within these mixtures which act against common vaginal conditions for individuals with wombs.
